From the title of this post, you guys might know that I and my friends attended The 4th International Conference & Exhibition on CSR. It's an annual conference & exhibition on CSR. This year, the event held at Balai Kartini, Jakarta.
It's my first time attending such a big event and I'm so excited when
Melissa told me about it. She knew about the event from her Corporate Social Responsibility's lecturer. So, yeah, the event is closely related to our courses and majors on college. Since all of us are majored in Public Relations, we thought the event is a great opportunity to learn more from the expert.

The event was held for two days and each day consists of 4 session. Each session have different speakers and topics, but all of them are related to Corporate Social Responsibility. The speaker share their experience on how to implement CSR ethically. We also got new knowledge about the CSR program by companies where the speakers work.
At the venue, there are booth of companies that will provide more information about CSR. I'm impressed by the crafts made from recycled packaging at Unilever's booth. Actually, I'm in love with the journal ;) Too bad I didn't have the chance to visit other booths, because time is running very fast. Since I and Melissa went to the event by public transportation, we try our best to avoid crowded time.
Governor of Jakarta, Sir Joko Widodo, is expected to attend the second day event to give speech at the closing ceremony. But, he didn't come and the speech represented by a representative. Maybe next time I'll have the chance to meet him :')
One special moment during the event is we have a precious opportunity to meet and take pictures with the CEO of Siemens, Sir Josef Winter. It's an honor to have a little chit-chat about what college we came from. Pleasure to meet you sir! :D
